Counseling and Consultation Groups
Open Forest Counseling Center offers groups for both clients and professionals. Group therapy is an incredible opportunity to develop your interpersonal skills and process with the safety and support of other people. Consultation groups provide invaluable ongoing support to therapists and provides a break from practicing in isolation.
Depression and Anxiety Support Group
A life issues support group for clients struggling with depression and/or anxiety. Participants will have a space to process and discuss their life stories as well as any current issues. Group will begin in the Fall of 2017 and meet for 8 consecutive weeks. Now accepting new members!
QTPOC Support Group
A safer space for Queer and Trans People of Color to come together, share experiences, process internalized oppression and carve new paths for liberation, all while building community.

Social Justice Consultation Group
A consultation group for direct service providers interested in social justice from an anti-oppression framework. Group topics include how to incorporate social justice into clinical practice, case consultation and supporting one’s self as therapist.
