Counseling and Consultation Groups
Open Forest Counseling Center offers groups for both clients and professionals. Group therapy is an incredible opportunity to develop your interpersonal skills and process with the safety and support of other people. Consultation groups provide invaluable ongoing support to therapists and provides a break from practicing in isolation.
QTBIPOC Support Group
All of you is welcome here. This group is to support the wholeness of queer and trans Black, Indigenous, and people of color in Colorado by sharing space with one another and stories relevant to our lives. Each meeting will begin with a guided mindfulness practice, and somatic interventions for liberation and/or resourcing with be shared. Feel free to bring a lunch as it’s during the lunch hour. Groups are limited, please register to secure your spot.
Therapist of Color Consultation Group
This quarterly consultation group is for counselors, psychologists, psychotherapists, mental health practitioners, and therapists of color interested in connecting over liberatory practices we apply in serving our clients, and sustaining ourselves. We’ll meet around lunchtime, so feel free to bring food.
